Welcome! I’m Tamara Rasberry; President/CEO of Rasberry Consulting!
WHO I AM: One of my favorite sayings is from Walt Whitman’s ‘Song of Myself’ – …I Contain Multitudes. I always think of this as a perfect way to describe myself as I, like most people, are so much more than one thing. We are multi-faceted and we contain multitudes.
My facets include being a single mother of two, native Washingtonian and older sister. I have a strong affinity for beauty, fashion, music and the arts. Throughout my 12+ years of professional experience which have included human resources, social media management and image consulting, I’ve discovered that what drives me is the desire to help people. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur in 2010, I spent the majority of my career in the nonprofit sector, which I left the government sector to enter because I wanted to make a difference. This desire to help others informs nearly every professional decision I make.
WHAT I BELIEVE: I believe every person, business and organization, dare I say, every brand, has a story to tell. With the popularity and accessibility of social media, there are more options than ever for telling your story and sharing it with your audience. What’s not always as easy is figuring out how best to utilize the social platforms and tools available.
HOW I CAN HELP YOU: My goal is to help you tell your story via social media. I accomplish this in three ways:
1. Seminars – You know your business/organization should utilize social media but you’re not quite sure how to go about it. Maybe you’re overwhelmed by the options or just not sure how to use the tools effectively. I CAN HELP! I conduct seminars to teach businesses and nonprofit organizations how to best utilize social media to reach and engage with their audience, spread their message and tell their story.
2. Live Events – If a conference was held but no one tweeted about it, did it really happen? These days it’s so important to make your events social but creating a hashtag is not enough. There’s an art to live-tweeting effectively and the conversation around your event should occur well ahead of the actual date. I CAN HELP! I promote and drive conversations around events ahead of time and serve as “digital emcee” during the events by live-tweeting and engaging your audience.
3. Coaching – As an individual, business owner or executive, you may know already have social accounts or a blog set-up but need some coaching and clarity around how to utilize them strategically and effectively. I CAN HELP! I provide coaching to help you reach your social media goals, based on your business or personal goals.
